Kyle Meredith-Peck

Climber

Kyle began climbing in 2015 after discovering the sport through a high school club. Quickly drawn to the unique movement, sense of progression, and strong community, he joined the youth squad at his local gym and immersed himself in training and competitions.

In his early years, Kyle focused primarily on indoor and competition climbing, steadily progressing from the back of the field to winning both lead and bouldering youth state titles. A formative trip to the Grampians National Park with friends and mentors gave him his first taste of outdoor climbing. Once he got his driver’s licence, Kyle made regular trips back, eventually relocating to live and work in the Grampians for most of 2023 to be closer to some of the best climbing in the world.

Since then, Kyle’s climbing journey has expanded well beyond the gym. From big wall climbing in Patagonia to first ascents in Asia, he has explored a wide range of climbing disciplines and remains a lifelong student of the sport. Now based in Melbourne and studying osteopathy, Kyle continues to balance training with outdoor exploration, making the most of Victoria’s diverse rock and staying committed to his growth as both a climber and athlete.
