AustraliaTerrible. I bought this headtorch because it came highly recommended and was great value for money. I bought it from the Melville Anaconda in WA two days before my hike with my daughter. Checked it before packing and it seemed to operate well. On the first night while cooking on my trangia, the lamp started glitching. It was pulsing from the bright setting (which is what I set it to) to the dim setting. It would flash, then blink from bright to dim to bright, then hold on bright for a while. Then start glitching all over again. It did this sporadically and without any trigger. I’ve taken it back to Anaconda and they are currently trying to get it repaired as per Black Diamond’s policy. I believe I should get a straight swap. If it’s faulty, give me a new that's not. I’ve been to the store, dealt with 2 different phone calls, and now they want video footage of the fault to send in, even though the fault was demonstrated to staff in the store. Overall really wish I bought Petzyl.

I got this for reading in bed, and it’s great for that. Also love it for evening reading anywhere. Cataracts that aren’t ready to remove make everything a bit dark, and the Cosmo 350 brightens up my world. I probably won’t be going backpacking again, but I love it for what I do now.
High quality bright headlamp. It’s comfortable and stays on well. Has different modes for different brightness levels.
Compact lite weight very bright little headlamp.
The Cosmo 350 is much smaller and lighter than the model I was using previously. The snap closure makes replacing the batteries easy, and the option to use a rechargeable battery is a great improvement from the company.
